Oh my a.....

trap


i have set so many traps.
i usually never go back to check on my prey
just forgotten it.
let it rot
i was hungry at the time
but after i had the animal on its back, eh... already bored


now i have found myself knee high in someone elses trap
im not crying, or screaming
its not bleeding too bad


this isnt how i pictured i would go
actually its not that bad.
i thought i would never say it
but its more confortable then strugging to get away
just lying here, knee high in a bear trap

eventually ill admit that reality has caught up
and ill smell my fermenting blood
and realize this trap is just like all the ones i’ve set

but untill then... ill just say

im happy
