this is my soul to take and if i die before i wake
please lie and not mention my past mistakes
pointing in my direction the hounds have the sent
of lost alibies & faces made to
claim this name i have stowed upon myself
as the careless child with the world in my hand
and my feet firmly on the the sand
take this offering of what is fact or fiction
i still am in fear of my years living becoming greater
and feeling less alive
i am going nowhere
and my aspirations seem
less real to survive
